Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. We understand you want to remain in control of your personal information and that we must earn and retain your trust. The EeBria Group (Craft Beer Holdings Limited T/A EeBriaTrade, it's parent company Beer52 and any of its subsidiaries are referred to collectively here as "EeBriaTrade" or simply "EeBria") has created this privacy statement to show our commitment to the privacy of any personal details that you provide us when using our website. We can assure you that we keep your information confidential and do not sell or rent our customers' personal information to third parties.

Please review this Privacy Policy, which sets out our policies regarding the collection, utilization and protection of the personal information of those using eebriatrade.com (‘the Site’) and any of its associated domains. When using our website, you are consenting to the practices set forth in this Privacy Policy and consenting to the information being used and shared between all entities within the EeBria Group of companies.

Please note that when browsing our site, the provision of any personal information is not required unless and until you choose to make an account with us. However an account is required to see prices and therefore to make a purchase. When making an account you will have the option to sign up for our email newsletters or other marketing alerts, and you have the ability to change your preferences or opt out from these in you account. Emails sent to you regarding the confirmation of orders, issuing of invoices and delivery notifications are not affected by these marketing preferences and will continue to be sent should you choose to the use the site to place orders with us.

Persons below the legal drinking age in the country (18 years in the UK) are not eligible to use the Site and we ask that such persons do not submit any personal information to us.

This website is primarily a wholesale operation and so the majority of accounts and information provided should be to create and maintain a business relationship. However we acknowledge that individuals are still allowed to use the site and some businesses are sole traders or their employees may need to share some personal information. As a result every effort is made to ensure that all potentially personal data is used appropriately and safely for any type of user.

Making an Account

In order to properly browse the website and see the price of products, all users of the EeBriaTrade are required to register an account. To do this we need some basic but essential information relating to the business or individual who wishes to set up a buying account. We require a business name (where applicable, if not a contact name) and email address in order to create and identify your account, and we need your postcode in order to ensure we can show you the correct products and costs including delivery to your location.

We invite you once you have an account to provide us with additional information such as contact name, your telephone number and further information about your business’ drinks needs and preferences. This is so we can contact you to discuss your orders and help you use the website in the best way, and also tailor your experience when browsing on the website and make sure to keep you notified about appropriate products. You can choose to not provide a phone number or contact details if you so wish, although this may somewhat limit the options with regards to our team contacting you and updating you with regards to your orders.

We also have strict rules with regard to licensing laws on the website. As the products are shipped directly from the suppliers, we need to ensure that those without licenses appropriate for 'off' sales to the public are not inadvertently breaching licensing laws by selling to a unlicensed customer via the platform. Our team will need to verify that you are a licensed business and able to sell alcohol to the public to see our full list of products and they may get in touch if they are unable to do so by using the information already provided. If you are an individual/retail buyer or a trade buyer who is still unverified this does not mean you cannot buy from us, it just means you are restricted to a product list from our suppliers who already have their own license. We use a number of methods to verify your account but should you need to provide us with the license details and you agree to do so, you give us permission to store that information and that you have the permission to share that information with us.

Making a Purchase

Please note that we do request your email address and password to confirm your identity each time you login and each time you purchase.

Where placing a standard order on our site, EeBria will be responsible for everything, we will arrange the logistics and handle all the payments and customer services relating to the transaction. In order to purchase products and related services through our site using this service, essential information is needed, some of which may be defined as personal under data regulations:

If you wish to pay using credit card (our default method) then we will need you to provide card details and the billing name and address at the time of checkout. This is all processed securely with an external card payment provider and not stored on our systems. For your convenience, you may wish to save your credit card billing details on your account so that you do not need to provide this information again. However we can assure you that we do not hold the card information on our own servers and this is protected by our regulated card processing partner.

Should you be a business seeking credit terms to pay on invoice, we will take and record this information outside of the web platform in order to ensure we have the legal information that we need. Further information may be required regarding the directors names, and potentially addresses if the business is not a privately limited company. If you wish to use our direct debit service you will be taken to our partner GoCardless’ website and you will be asked to provide them with your bank details in order that we can use them to make collections from you for your purchases. Please ensure you check the details on their site regarding their privacy and data policies.

In order for us to subsequently deliver products, the business name (where applicable), a contact name and the delivery address will be required either as part of your account information or added at the point of purchase. You may also be invited to provide extra contact information in order to assist with the delivery. Please note, this information may then in turn be provided to a supplier or seller for the sole purpose of delivering the specific purchased product(s). The supplier(s) have already agreed in their contract with us not to use this information for any other purpose than to enable these shipment(s). The seller also agrees not to separately contact you at any time for any reason or store your information on their own systems, you should notify us at once should you suspect that any party related to an order has utilised the shipping information in a manner that was not necessary only for the fulfilment of the order and we will investigate and take the appropriate steps.

Enabling a Portal Transaction

Should you wish to place an order on a seller’s direct sales portal, where this portal is ‘powered by EeBriaTrade’ you will first need to register an account with us. This process and the information required is covered elsewhere in this policy. With an EeBriaTrade account, you will be able to use the platform to immediately browse and purchase using our standard arrangements.

Should you prefer to use a Seller's Direct Ordering Portal rather than our standard services, this will require the seller to deal with you as a customer directly. You will be invited to request access to the seller’s direct trade service to first become an approved buyer. Submission of this request provides permission for them to process your information as a potential customer and store the information on their systems accordingly. Please only make a request to become a direct customer on a portal if you are comfortable with the seller receiving and using your personal information as indicated on the page. You should check the terms and conditions of the seller carefully and ensure you are happy to trust them with your information. If you have any privacy concerns regarding a seller portal, you can easily revert to buying on our platform from any seller, using the courier services and standard processes.

Should you be accepted as a customer for a seller direct portal, any orders you subsequently place using that service will be finalised and fulfilled by that seller, including provision of the delivery using their own delivery routes. In this instance they will be able to contact you directly to confirm payment and the delivery details. You will be able to indicate your agreement to their mailing list when you request an account with them, once subscribed you will need to contact them directly to adjust your marketing preferences with them.

Sharing Information

We do not share your details with third parties without seeking permission other than where we are required to by law or as part of our normal logistics process documented in this privacy policy:

We need to share your billing information with selected payment processing partners as referred to above in order to take payment and release your products for delivery at the time of purchase. As above your card details you submit into the card processing company's platform directly at the time of checkout avoiding this information being stored directly on our own servers or systems.

Your name and address may be provided or made visible to a supplier (i.e brewery) for the sole purpose of delivering or providing your purchased product(s). We may also use a third party courier service to move the goods from the supplier to you. The supplier and the courier services has a contracted arrangement with us in which they agree to not use this information for any other purpose, either in connection with such shipment(s) or separately from such shipment(s). They also agree not to separately contact you at any time for any reason except where you have consented to be a 'direct customer' using our portal technology. We use a number of courier partners and so your orders may be delivered by any of or number of these.

Should we have a special offer with prizes offered by a third party, we will give you the opportunity to opt out before we provide your details for them to send you free stuff!

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent. Information shared within the EeBria Group of companies is done so for the purposes of supporting your account and facilitating your orders or used to improve our internal recommendations and marketing to personalise your site experience. Our employees are all trained in data security and restricted to information relevant for their roles.
