Alphabet - hop forward beers with funkily designed cans and kegs. Their range runs from a classic Pilsner style in Hoi Polloi, to hoppy, juicy beers like Charlie Don't Surf and Juice Springsteen.

First Chop - a huge range of kegs and cans means you can get a style to suit any tastes! Their new 440ml cans of gluten free Helles are great, as is their fruity grapefruit saison Pip.

Runaway - this central Manchester outfit have been making great beer since 2014. From their core range try the Session IPA, or for something different, the Imperial Brown is superb.

Seven Brothers - a true family operation (founded by 7 brothers!), this innovative brewery take on challenging styles, like their Cherry Sour and dunkelweizen Dunkel Checks In. Cans and kegs available.

Shindigger - this young, exciting 'shadow brewer' (they have a pilot kit and then borrow other breweries to scale them up for production) has beautiful 440ml cans and kegs. Try the Weak Become Heroes, a brilliant all day session pale.

Squawk - this fiercely independent brewery has an incredible range of kegs, including some new and exciting barrel aged beers, Belgian Dubbel Red Wine, and Corvus Whisky.

Wander Beyond - the 9th highest rated brewery in England on Untappd, rightly revered for their intensely flavoured beers, like the milkshake IPA City Of Gold and smoked Baltic porter Snuffle.
